Direct fired gas heaters are specifically used in large warehouses, hangers, or paint booth applications. Either for makeup air, process, or recirculation. But you would never use them for office spaces, schools, hospitals, or hotels (not limited to those examples). Reason being is that you have combustion directly in the air stream.
These burners are 100% efficient and can reach a capacity over 11 million BTUs with up to 30:1 turndown. This particular design is serving a large hanger where large amounts of heating is required.
