If your mechanical space is very tight and you don't have a lot of length to work with, vertically arranged components can help decrease the overall length required on your AHU. If you have height available, MAS can use that to your advantage. In this case, an electric heater was required for reheat in addition to a hot water coil. Both components, in addition to the EC fan, were rotated vertically to accommodate the restrictive space. No specials required for a modification like this.
